Reconciliation

Know where the money is.

Connect transaction, bank, partner, FX, card, account and stablecoin/fiat records. Bring differences, aging and investigation evidence into one workflow.

In short

Reconciliation matches what your system says happened against what your banks, payout partners and processors report. Flowmynt brings those record sets together and surfaces the breaks, with aging and enough evidence to investigate each one. One cross-border payment can touch four record sets. Spreadsheets stop working quickly.

What you can configure

  • Transaction, bank and payout-partner reconciliation
  • Settlement, FX, card and account reconciliation
  • Stablecoin and fiat records
  • Exceptions, aging and investigation evidence

Common questions

What is payment reconciliation?

Payment reconciliation is the process of matching your own transaction records against what banks, payout partners, processors and account providers report, then investigating whatever does not match. Breaks reveal failed payments, fee differences, timing gaps and settlement errors.

Why is reconciliation harder for cross-border payments?

Each payment can touch a funding account, an FX conversion, a payout partner and a settlement cycle, often in different currencies and time zones. That creates several record sets per transaction, so reconciliation has to span all of them rather than one statement.

What happens when records do not match?

Unmatched items become exceptions with aging and investigation evidence attached, so an operator can see which leg disagreed and act. Resolved items close against the transaction and stay in the audit trail for reporting and review.
